Greetings to all of you daring travelers!

Because Aeternum is a world that is always changing, we will keep making efforts to provide our players with a variety of ongoing new features, content, and adjustments. In a manner of speaking that is analogous to the events that took place in the run-up to our most recent significant update, we are getting close to the launch of our subsequent significant update, and we would like to extend an invitation to all of you to take part in the subsequent cycle of our Public Test Realm (PTR)!

PTR

The Public Test Realm, also known as the PTR, is a limited-access server set that will provide players with a sneak peek at upcoming content and features. These preview builds are snapshots of upcoming major releases; however, they are not final versions, so New World EU Central Mandara Coins is possible that you will experience bugs, crashes, text that is missing, and other issues. We hope that between our own internal testing and the reports that you provide, we will be able to identify and address any major problems with the servers before they go live. However, not every bug or piece of feedback will be acted on before the release. Some changes require additional time for investigation and may arrive in a patch or two after the initial release. Despite this, hundreds of changes have already been made, and there will be even more in the future; on the day of the release, the complete release notes will be made available.

All newly created characters on the Public Test Realm (PTR) will be granted the ability to instantly level up to certain level ranges, complete with the appropriate equipment and items, in order to facilitate the process of collecting player feedback.

  • On April 28, at 10 AM PDT (which is equivalent to 5 PM UTC), the Public Test Region will officially open
  • During this playtest cycle, there will only be one world available (referred to as “US East PTR 1”), and it will be situated somewhere within the US East region
  • This decision was made to ensure that the number of players in each world is as high as possible and to promote cooperative gameplay
  • It’s possible that you won’t be able to find the available test world unless you go into the main menu and change the setting for your region

We’d love to hear your feedback on our PTR sub-forum if you come across a bug, an exploit, or have suggestions to improve a feature or piece of content. You can also use our in-game feedback tool if you’d like to provide us with your thoughts directly. Before the content update is deployed to our live servers, we are going to do everything in our power to respond to as much of your feedback as humanly possible. Because of your participation, we will be able to provide you with fantastic content and updates in the future!

During this cycle of the Public Test Realm (PTR), we are looking forward to receiving feedback from your playtests regarding the following changes.

We have included a little bit of everything in this patch for! Those who have a need to conquer will have plenty to do in Aeternum, as the game features a wide variety of new and exciting activities and rewards that are centered on player versus player combat. PvE players won’t be ignored either; these explorers can look forward to new quests and the expansion of the Expedition Mutators feature, which is already a fan favorite, to additional content.

3V3 PLAYER VS PLAYER ARENAS

Enter the Arena, where you can put your fighting New World SA East Kitezh Coins skills to the test against other competitors. The new small-scale PvP game mode known as 3v3 Arenas pits teams of three players against one another in a competition for fame, glory, and riches (along with a few unique housing items)!

Every single match in the Arena is a “Best of 5” competition. Compete with the other teams in an effort to be the first to win three rounds and clinch the victory for your side. The rounds last for two minutes, but if the fight drags on for too long, a deadly ring of fire will push players to the center of the arena, where they will be forced to fight one another or perish!

By opening the Modes menu, players of level 20 and higher have the ability to queue for 3v3 Arenas. This enables players to engage in on-demand PvP gameplay from any location in Aeternum. Talking to the fight promoter Maximus Marcellus in Everfall is a good option for players who want to gain a basic understanding of what the Arena entails.

PLAYER VS PLAYER REWARD TRACK

PvP XP and Azoth Salt are the two new currencies that are introduced by the PvP Rewards Track.

Participating in Player versus Player (PvP) activities, such as war, outpost rush, 3v3 arenas, PvP missions, Player versus Player kills in the open world, and fort captures, will earn players either of these two types of currency. In addition, gaining experience while the game is set to PvP will now reward you with bonus Azoth Salt!

Earning points in player-versus-player combat will move you up the rewards track. At each of the three notches, three rewards will be drawn from the pool. You will then have the opportunity to choose and purchase one of the rewards that is made available using your Azoth Salt.

You will be able to advance to the next level once you have reached the third notch, which is where the very best rewards are located. When you make the purchase of your third reward, this will either take place automatically or present you with the option to do so manually. If you decide to buy fewer than the maximum of three rewards, you will be given some compensatory salt to add to your balance for the next time the opportunity arises.

Your PvP Rank will increase by one with each track rotation that passes. When you reach certain rank milestones, additional exclusive content and rewards, as well as certain achievements and titles, will become available to you. So you better get PvP’ing!

TUNING FOR BATTLE

During this Public Test Realm (PTR) cycle, we are going to experiment with a number of different changes to the way combat works in a variety of areas. We are modifying the equip load bonuses of heavy-armor healers to bring them into line with other builds, we are adding a small delay to the stamina regen after a dodge, and we are finally making some significant changes to the bow movement and firing options in an effort to make the overall gameplay experience more enjoyable. Check out the complete set of notes to learn more about the specifics of these and other changes.

NEW EXPEDITION MUTATORS

Come back to the Depths to take on a brand new test and earn some end-game rewards in the process! The Depths has been added as a new rotation option for the weekly Expedition Mutator. In addition, three new types of mutations have been included in the pool, bringing the total number of new combinations to 27.

Overgrown is a passive ability that focuses on Nature Damage and Resistance. It adds effects such as Toxic, a pool that tracks down players, and Compost, which turns trash into healing areas for their allies. Overgrown is a nature-based ability.

The Barbaric attribute prioritizes dealing physical damage. Adds Berserk, an enrage effect, and Shattering which deals Stamina Damage.

The nocturnal is the primary focus of fiendish curses. Weary, an ability added by Fiendish, weakens players with a rend and makes them more vulnerable with a slow. Blood Offering, another ability added by Fiendish, stacks damage over time.

VARANGIAN KNIGHTS – EPISODE 2

The tale of the Varangian Knights and their rise to power will continue in the next chapter. During this episode, players will face off against four new types of Varangian foe: the Crusher, the Spearman, the Hound, and the Mage. Abigail Rose, who can be found just outside a new Varangian camp at Sorcerers Delve in Everfall, is the giver of the beginning quest for Episode 2 of the game. Strongly suggested for players level 25 to 30.

PLAYER-SELECTED PRONOUNS

The pronoun that the player has chosen to use will now be reflected in chat! For example, whenever an emote is used, the user’s preferred pronoun will be taken into consideration and displayed.

Obviously, this is not all there is! Checking out the full PTR notes that have been posted in the PTR sub-forum will allow you to go over all of the upcoming changes that will be implemented with this patch.

ACCESS FOR PTR CLIENTS

This special preview client will be made available for download through the stand-alone Steam application known as “New World Public Test Realm.” If you have already purchased the main game, this application should already be in your Steam library. After the test period has ended and the main New World game has been updated with the content that was previewed, the PTR world will be shut down and possibly reset to its original state. You will still be able to find the New World PTR application in your Steam library, but until the next time we make an announcement regarding a public test, there will not be an active server.

PTR BACKSTORY LOADOUTS

On the Public Test Realm (PTR), players will receive multiple caches of unique armor and weapons when they create their characters. Each cache has a designation that is determined by a general build that is based on one of these primary characteristics: CON, DEX, INT, FOC, and STR.

Do not immediately open all of the caches that have been provided; otherwise, you run the risk of becoming burdened by the sudden influx of new items. Instead, you should equip all of the bags that have been provided, and then proceed to carefully open each cache. You are free to dispose of or store undesirable caches in the personal storage space provided by your settlement.

PTR FAQ WHAT IS THE NEW PTR AND HOW DO I ACCESS IT?

Everyone who owns a copy of New World will have their request for access to the secondary PTR app approved automatically. Because the PTR and the live game are not compatible with one another, you will need to download a separate client (and ensure that you have enough space on your hard drive to support it). From that point on, we will make special worlds accessible within the regions that we support. In the beginning, support will be available in only some of the regions. It is first come, first served for those who wish to gain access. There may be queues.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO USE MY LIVE CHARACTERS ON THE PTR, OR TO TRANSFER THEM HERE?

Sadly, the answer is no. Because these are two distinct ecosystems, at this time it is not possible to combine them. On the other hand, in order to make testing more convenient for our play-testers, we may on occasion provide them with special accommodations such as instant levels, unique gear, and so on.

IS IT POSSIBLE FOR ME TO PROVIDE DESIGN FEEDBACK IN CONNECTION WITH WHAT’S INCLUDED ON THE PTR?

The core development of the preview game builds that are available on the PTR has been completed, and the builds are currently undergoing their final phase of testing and bug fixing. Although enhancing the product’s quality is currently our primary focus at this stage, we welcome and value any feedback you have to offer.

YOU ARE Experiencing AN ISSUE; HOW CAN I GET IN TOUCH WITH CUSTOMER SUPPORT?

The Public Test Realm is covered by both our policies and our Code of Conduct, and we will continue to provide support for in-game moderation. Unfortunately, due to the fact that the PTR is only temporary and may be unstable at times, general customer service assistance through Live Chat and the Support Website will not be available during this time.

YOU DO NOT WANT TO TAKE PART IN THE PTR AT THIS TIME; IS IT POSSIBLE FOR ME TO REMOVE THE APP FROM MY LIBRARY?

Don’t worry about it; you’ve caused no offense. Players have the ability to control who can see the New World Public Test Realm entry in the Steam Library. The “Hide Game” function can be accessed by right-clicking on the game’s icon and selecting the Manage menu option.

Many thanks for both your participation and your support! We’ll see you in Aeternum.
